These terms and conditions are written primarily for the customers' benefit and are in addition to statutory conditions
1. Negotiated prices will be issued in writing and submitted by email. Prices quoted will be held from 28 days of issue.
2. All prices quoted will include the registration of a domain name (.com or .co.uk ) for 1 year, Website hosting for a period of 1 from registration, Design of the site and supply of stock photographs unless they are supplied by you, updating as per para 7, statistics as per para 8 and reporting as per para 9.
3. A payment of 50% of the total price is to be made with order
4. The balance will be due when the site is completed and published to an Internet address owned by UKLOCALNET. When this payment is received and cleared UKLOCALNET will publish to the domain name already purchased.
5. In the event of more than 3 months elapsing from the order date, for instance the client not providing UKLOCALNET with information to complete the site, the balance of 50% will be payable immediately - otherwise all work will cease.
6. A copy of all files used on the site will be furnished to the client on a CD Rom.
7. All updating of the site will be included in the price. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF UPDATING - A COMPLETE REVAMP OF THE SITE WILL INCUR EXTRA (NEGOTIABLE) CHARGES. UKLOCALNET will be the arbiters of what construes a revamp.
8. UKLOCALNET will provide access to a source of statistics which shall cover number of visitors, length of stay and most popular pages
9. UKLOCALNET will send a quarterly report on performance to the client by email. Included in the email will be statistics as outlined in paragraph 8 above. The report will include recommendations on how to increase performance.
10. Upon completion of order, UKLOCALNET will send to the client by email a report outlining strategies that the client can put into force to make the website more effective.
11. UKLOCALNET reserve the right to refuse business and/or not to offer renewal terms for subsequent years after the first year.
12. Whilst UKLOCALNET will continue to monitor website performance and time on line, we cannot be held responsible for any breakdown of services that are beyond our control, or subsequent loss. In the event of a major breakdown in service UKLOCALNET will look for other suppliers of Internet space.
